Wishes...

If a genie grants you three wishes, what would you wish for?

- Enough money to live comfortably for the rest of my life
- Good health with no life-threatening illnesses and happiness for myself, my family and friends.

And, ermm…

- I would wish for more wishes! :))

World Peace!

Welcome 2011!

A month feels like a week. That’s how fast my life is now. Not complaining but thanking God for all the blessing in life. Praise to God. Hope it's not too late to say farewell to 2010 to all. Hey, people are celebrating Eidul Fitr for month. So I guess at this particulate moment, it’s not wrong to wish everyone happy New Year. Welcome 2011!

So what are my resolutions for 2011? Tradition dictates that every 365 days, you should try to kick bad habits and start your life anew. When I was younger, I did these whole lists of New Year resolutions (of which I can’t even remember of what is it by the end of December), and half of which I broke within the first month or even the first week of New Year. Learning from experience, my New Year resolutions list gets shorter and shorter as the years go by.

So for 2011, my lists would be:

- To save more and spend less. To pay off debt. Easier said than done, but I will try!
- To be more focused, more efficient and productive in the office. It’s not that I’m not being “that” for 2010, but I’m hoping I can do it better. Though I might have looked like I achieved a bit of something for 2010, a lot of time it was quite a last minute work. I need to be more motivated. And YES, I’m also hoping to be paid with higher salary.
- I desire to be a better Muslim and slayer to Allah and I want to be able to read the Quran regularly and not just do the seasonal Ramadan reading. I wish that I could advance my Islamic knowledge where I would be implementing what I have learned.
- To be a great partner, friend, mummy (Insha’Allah), daughter and colleague to loved ones. I’m hoping that I could spend lots of quality time with them. For the past years, there were so many people in my lives that I would want to reach out or spend time with. I love all those people out there but it just that I can’t find the right time to spend with. But what is love if it’s not shown in actions right? So hopefully, I’ll be able to show it in more practical ways this year!
- Last but not least, to put down weight. I have gained so many kilos so far in my pregnancy which I'm not really sure how. My aim is to lose back those kilos during my confinement. Need to work real hard for this.

So let’s have a great start for January 2011 and hope for a better love in February 2011 (incase I have no time to update this blog in February)

Happy Independence Day to all Malaysians!!

Happy Independence Day!

I would like to wish all Malaysians a Happy 53rd Independence Day.
Born and bred as a Malaysian for the past 26 years and yet I am still living in Malaysia. I survive! Not necessarily those who choose to stay back in Malaysia would strive to earn a living and lack behind to those who graduated and worked in the developed countries.
Way back when I was in primary or secondary, Independence Day was celebrated with so much joy and happiness: late sleep just because of the fireworks and wake up early for the National Parade.

After school, Independence Day was celebrated much less. But that’s doesn’t means the enthusiasm gone. Being patriotic doesn’t ONLY mean that you’re willing to sacrifice for the country. Your contribution to the economic development and Live happily and peacefully within races, it call patriotic too.

As the country is getting older, I really hope whoever rule the country will give their best effort on keeping this country peaceful and harmony. Lets different races blend in together without barriers and lets religious activities carries out without fear. War will not get us anywhere. There are much more to do with love than hate. Sometimes, a majority of us tend to think that the grass is greener on the other side. “Hujan emas di negeri orang, hujan batu di negeri sendiri, lebih baik hujan batu di negeri sendiri”. It’s a Malay proverb, meaning that although there are many good things outside our own country, and less in the place where we live, it is still best to live in our own place. It might be similar to “There is no place like home”.

goodbye may and welcome June

We have already bid farewell to May and welcomed the month of June. What does the month of May means to you, you and you? Okey, all of you. Me? Well, I can only think of our 1st Wedding Anniversary. Don’t have time to write about this earlier as I was buzy as bee churning data, checking the paper and slides for our 1q 2010 survey on SMEs. Fuhh…

So we celebrated our 1st wedding anniversary with simple dinner... before my boss spoiled my mood. (She called me at 10pm and asked me to provide her few figures and she’ll wait for my sms)… oohh and I have to rush back to our sarang burung as soon as possible. Wtf? Okey, okey luckily I have a so called “husband yang memahami” yeah! I’m blessed and thankful that you are mine!

Happy 1st Wedding Anniversary to you sayang!
Im faithfully blessed n thankful for having a wonderful “you”.
Even its 1st anniversary and for some people it’s just a single number of year, but for us, we are so grateful that we managed to go thru the hitch n glitch thru out the year. I believe whatever God destined to me in my life are for reasons and it’s for my happiness and my future. Sayang, thank you for all the kindness and compassion towards me. I love u with all my heart. muaxx blush blush

Goodbye May, and thank you for the moment. Appreciate it!

Okey, that was May. How about June? Realized it or not, we are now at the middle of the year 2010. We’re halfway through the year. Depend on how we look at it. “Half empty or half-full cup ... filled with water?”
I have yet to reach targets.
- looking forward to have more savings. Hope that one day I’ll wake up with millions cash in my bank account.
- working real hard in the office (no fb-ing, no blogging etc)
- taking quick break from the city (Redang, Perhentian or Tioman perhaps?)
- etc
- etc
- etc
- etc
- etc

At the end of the day I realize that, Oh well - I am human after all :)

Ohh ya, I’ll be celebrating engagements and weddings of good old friends in June. Love it!!

air mati di dalam peti ais kelihatan sungguh menarik di mata saya...

:p

[ air mati a.k.a air kosong ( bagi org2 utara sahaja!)]

.:sleepless:.

People can survive longer without food than without sleep.
sleep is so important in keeping ourselves looking good, hence the phrase "beauty sleep".
ohh, i need to go to sleep now. need to hv a great one. a combo of sleep and dream. and become worry free. even it's for a while.

Time check: 12.30am. Obviously a no-no to a non quality stays up!

LIFE vs WORK

I'm already beginning to question if work’s taking over my life. I say slowly... but SURELY! Neglecting health, sometimes meals and most of the time fun. Is it a beginning of a word of obsession for work? Fuhh… I woke up every morning at 5.45am. Starting car engine at 6.30am, punched out at 7.30pm and reached home at 8.00pm.. Then start my every day – routine: basuh-ing baju, sidai-ing baju, lipat-ing baju, iron-ing baju, kemas-ing rumah…and sometimes cooking! (I don’t have ‘that’ enough time to cook, okey!) Since it’s toward the end of 2009, im soo insistly to have an inspiring weeks, or at least an inspiring days at any place … (hubby, please take note!!)
As promise in earlier post, I have to update you on this. Last month (18th October to be exact), WE [me+khasif+avvy+fadli (and gangs!)] went for theatre show at Taman Budaya KL, titled “Miaw Miaw Sang Arnab”, presented by Tronoh Theatre Shop (TTS). It is a theatre group from Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS (UTP), Tronoh Perak, which involves mainly in theatre, sketch and mime shows. First time for me to watched real “mimers”. It’s actually first time I n khasif went for this kind of show. I shall says it was quite interesting jugak…so fadli, please plan for the next show, please!. But I would probably give two thumbs up to “Tok Janggut” It’s a monolog and I respect him as the way he present himself totally superb. Cerita sarat dengan isu tersirat dan mesej simbolik (ceewah!)

Remember I told you all about mimie? There she is… a pic of her for you guys…
Congratulationsss to Azura n Aidil on their wedding reception in Penang on 8/11/2009 and KL on the 15/11/2009. Me n khasif are the bunga telur boy and girl for the day and it’s totally tiring day for us as we have to drive back to KL on the same day and have to work on the next day. Anyway, may GOD bless you both! Lately, ive been cracking my head to make one of the big decision in my life…Do you ever have trouble making decisions? The fear of failure and of making a mistake can immobilize a person. Which carpet to buy for your floor. Which sofa to choose. What to wear that day. What you feel like doing on your days off. What kind of work you really want to do. i can get stuck behind my fear and anxiety. i may lose my motivation when i know i have to make a decision. Making decisions can be difficult, very difficult. For me, making decisions is a creative process. But my mind doesn't know anything about creativity. My mind is logical, rational, and thinks it can logically decide on what is right or best. You have only 4 days to go. Make a choice, fyza! Between SMEs Corp or Royal Malaysian Customs department!
